Experience safety firsthand at the Dräger Experience Center.
Immerse yourself in realistic scenarios and learn life-saving.

Challenge
Dräger, a 130-year leader in safety solutions, sought to transform their one of the areas in Mumbai office into a permanent, interactive experience center. They needed to effectively showcase their vast product portfolio, spanning gas detection, diving equipment, and more, while providing clients
with a deeper, tangible understanding of their applications across diverse industries.
The challenge was to move beyond static displays and create an engaging, informative space that reflected Dräger's commitment to safety.

Solution
Our design team was tasked with creating an engaging, open-plan experience zone where clients could freely explore and interact with the full range of Dräger products. The design approach was driven by the desire to immerse visitors in realistic scenarios and showcase the practical applications of Dräger's safety solutions. This was achieved through the following design elements.
Transformation of Existing Structure
A previously underutilized circular building pillar was ingeniously repurposed as the centerpiece of the confined space entry exhibit. This clever adaptation maximized existing resources and created a focal point for the experience zone.
Realistic Simulations
The confined space exhibit utilized textured paint, a custom-built opening, and a specially outfitted mannequin to simulate a real-world confined space scenario. Similarly, the live driving unit with a car model provided a hands-on demonstration of the Alcotest system.
Mannequin Integration
Mannequins were strategically used throughout the experience zone to showcase safety products in context.
Industry-Specific Environments
Fiber-fabricated pipes and paint effects were employed to create immersive representations of the oil & gas and chemical industries. The fire services section was dramatically represented by the side view of a real fire truck, further enhanced by mannequins in safety gear and fire hoses. A glass divider with underwater patterns, combined with a suspended mannequin, effectively showcased diving equipment. A mine tunnel backdrop and a seated mannequin with mining products highlighted the specialized equipment for the mining industry.
Product Integration
The design seamlessly integrated Dräger products into each exhibit, allowing visitors to see and understand their functionality within realistic settings.
Functional Considerations
Service desks and shelving for product storage were incorporated to ensure the experience zone was not only engaging but also practical for staff and clients.
Result
The Dräger Experience Center has demonstrably achieved its objectives. Client engagement has increased, brand awareness has been strengthened, and the space now serves as a valuable asset for product demonstrations and client meetings. The project's success underscores the effectiveness of Inoways' design approach and its ability to deliver impactful solutions.
